End of this gorgeous weather

The storm that brought historic snow to the the nation’s midsection will finally reach the Northeast during the upcoming week, once the high pressure responsible for the current dry spell breaks down.
The showers are expected to reach Washington, D.C., Monday afternoon, Philadelphia, Pa., and Trenton, N.J., by Tuesday, Albany, N.Y., and Boston, Mass., on Wednesday and Burlington, Vt., and Bangor, Maine, on Thursday.

The best chance for showers to move into our area will be from the daytime on Wednesday into the day on Thursday. After that it looks to clear out and stay warm! -SS

Hope on the Horizon

As the forecast temperature trends come out for the month of April, we can breath a sigh of relief as it looks like we finally break out of old man winter’s grip. Starting in the second week of the month and continuing for the remainder of the month the pattern finally looks to shift from unseasonably cold temperatures to average and even above average temps! So just tough it out for the rest of this week, because by the weekend it looks to be near normal again as we see temps back into the 50s! Summers coming! (Maybe) -SS

Back to Reality

After a cold front moved through last night and dropped temps 15-20 degrees, it feels more like mid-February than mid-March! The front that moved through ushered in some more average if not below average temps. These temperatures will stick around for the foreseeable future. Stay warm! -SS
